My tiny intern has become very vocal and so I am putting her to work. We have a casual Thanksgiving in store this year so we (I) put together looks from her closet with tips on dressing for the holiday!

Thanksgiving Day

You don’t have to stick with the traditional orange, yellow, and browns for the celebration! You can go with this fall-appropriate moss green dress instead. A little people version of the fit-and-flare dress means shape without discomfort and room to go back for seconds. Or thirds.

If you want to sport some orange but it’s not your best color (and Dad insists), work it in to your accessories!

If You Are Going All Out

Mud Pie Turkey Tunic Signature Style

The best part about being tiny – it’s completely acceptable to wear turkeys, ruffles, and pom poms like this Mud Pie Turkey Tunic set for the holiday. Let’s remember to give ourselves freedom to be fun and themed in our style from time to time!

Shopping

Oh the madness of Black Friday! If you are braving the stores, wear something comfy, roomy for easy off/on quick-changes, warm but not too hot (heaters will be cranking and your body temperature will be up from racing around to fight over this year’s “it” toy), and a nice pair of flats for all that running in and out of stores. If you are the one trying on clothes, wear a tank underneath so you don’t have to wait for a dressing room each time.

To Ring in the Christmas Season

Post-Thanksgiving Outfit Signature Style

And finally, the Christmas season is here! A healthy dose of red and white to help Mommy and Daddy trim the tree.

If you (like my tiny intern) are new to mixing patterns, go for similar patterns where one pattern is small and one is medium-sized like the chevron and small stripe pairing here.

In the spirit of the holiday, I am so grateful to you for reading the blog each week! I hope you and your family have a wonderful and stylish Thanksgiving week!!
