Know what you are wearing to this season’s parties? Corporate? Cocktail? Holiday Chic? This week on Great Day Houston I teamed up with Nordstrom, Dillard’s, and Houston’s own Tres Chic boutique to help you figure out what to wear! Click here or below to watch the segment.
Click through for links to pieces featured and some additional tips we didn’t have time to cover on air!
For all of these styles, think dressier than your usual! For the holiday season, and any other time, overdressed is always better than underdressed.
Bring on the sparkle and upscale looks! Longer gowns are reserved for formal attire so stick with shorter styles.
The party where it’s most important that you get it right! If you are unsure of the dress code, don’t hesitate to ask. You are representing you and your date to the people you (or they) see on a daily basis. While you don’t bring a host/ess gift to the party, a follow-up thank you to the planners is always a nice gesture!
Have fun! Wear what fits your personal style while celebrating the fun and festivity of the season. If unsure of the attire, this is a safe bet for most house/restaurant parties.
