Let’s face it, I shop A LOT for myself, clients, and the little one. You should benefit from my experiences! So every week I’ll compile a few of my recent purchases, items clients have purchased, and of course, what the little one is wearing! Tell me what you think!
Topshop Faux Fur Gilet Vest
Why I’m Loving It: When I find something I like, that fits well, in one of my best colors, it’s definitely coming home with me. Faux fur is HUGE this season but because it’s a great fit for my style and coloring I can wear it for many seasons, even in Houston’s non-existent winter. One of my favorite features – the crew neck is a low crew neck so it’s a more flattering neckline if you don’t have a long neck. (I don’t!)
Shopping Tip: Is more moss green than pictured. If in between sizes, I recommend sizing down. It’s a boxy fit and fur of course adds volume!
Ivanka Trump Frankly Boots
Why I’m Loving It: A fabulous low-heel bootie that meets the moto trend criteria while doubling as a western option? I’m in. I’m not usually a fan of the straight cut across the ankle but in Tobacco it’s not as severe. I receive tons of compliments on these every time I wear them!
Shopping Tip: Fit is true to size and the color has more muted green to it than pictured.
INC Colorblock Cardigan
Why I’m Loving It: This was one of those angels singing moments on a mildly desperate shopping trip. Dressing my in-between body has been a challenge and this cardigan fit great. The arms are narrow, the open-front draping hides my still-there baby bump, and the thin fabric means a great Southern fall staple. Plus you can’t beat the price for an on-trend patterned knit!

Forever 21 Longline Coat
Why I’m Loving It: Blush Pink is one of the season’s it colors, I’m a coat junkie (yes, I live in Houston), it’s fully lined, and you can’t beat the price. It fits like a *straight* long blazer and hits roughly high thigh.
Shopping Tip: Forever 21 typically runs a bit small so I ordered in a L. If you are curvy plan on a sizing up to skim over curves or have it taken in at the waist to stay true to your shape.
J Crew Downtown Field Jacket
Why I’m Loving It: Are you sensing a color theme? When one of your colors is in, stock up! It’s a timeless purchase for you even when the color trend dies down. This jacket is a great relaxed, casual boyfriend style perfect for casual fall days. It looks great with the sleeves cuffed and I appreciate the button waist tabs to cinch in the waist a bit for a different look.
Shopping Tip: Bought in Mossy Brown which is again a bit more dark moss green than pictured. Fit is boxy and relaxed – much more than pictured! Medium was plenty big even though I’m not fully back to a size Medium yet. (Use code TGIFALL for an extra 25% off)

Why She’s Loving It: She’s currently really in to polka dots, The Hungry Caterpillar is one of her favorite books, and we recently went to the Albuquerque balloon festival. You can see I had no choice but to buy these. ;-) (40% off through Sunday!!)
